Kristin (Steffen) Arens is a native of Crofton, NE and a graduate of Crofton High School. She attended The University of South Dakota and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science before graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree in May of 2017.
She started her working career with Overland Rehab in June of 2017. Kristin works primarily in our Verdigre, Plainview, and Lynch locations serving a variety of patients including geriatrics, orthopedic, neurological, inpatient, home health, and sports populations, young and old.
Pelvic Floor physical therapy is one of Kristin’s specialized areas of practice. With advanced training and certification in Pelvic Floor Health services at Overland Rehabs Verdigre Location . Kristin is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) along with a certification in Dry Needling. She continues to expand her clinical knowledge through on going education, allowing her to provide evidence-based, individualized care across a wide range of patient needs.
She currently resides in Verdigre, NE with her husband, Trent, who farms/ranches, and their children Wren, Ellie, and Rook. In her spare time, she enjoys being active, being outside, helping on the farm, and enjoying time with friends and family.
